Botox® / Vistabel®I
Botox®, also known as Vistabel® has been used for over 15 years to treat and prevent the progression of wrinkles around the upper part of the face. Botulinum toxin A - it's full name - was first used for eye disorders and the smoothing out of wrinkles was noticed as a welcome side effect.
This amazing treatment in itself is straightforward and the actual treatment itself takes literally minutes to carry out. Using an extremely fine needle, the botulinum protein is injected into the problem area. The procedure is relatively pain free and you can carry out your daily business straight after the procedure.
The effects of Botox last on average 3-5 months, however after sustained use, the effects of Botox will gradually start to last longer, and can even prevent new wrinkles from forming.
